Process

Simple process.
Serious outcomes.

No confusing project jargon. Clear steps, clear timelines, and fast communication from start to finish.

The Steps

How a project actually works.

Four steps. Every project follows the same structure. You always know where things are up to.

01

Discovery & Strategy

We learn your business before we write a single line of code.

A proper project starts with understanding — not assumptions. We run a structured discovery session to get clear on your services, your ideal clients, your local market, and what you actually need the website to do.

What you provide

Brief overview of your services and pricing
Your target service area or suburbs
A few examples of competitors you respect (or hate)
Any brand assets — logo, colours, fonts
Any current website or social pages

What we deliver

Site structure and page map
Messaging strategy for your audience
Conversion goals for each key page
Competitor audit summary
02

Content & UX Planning

Structure before design. Always.

We map out exactly what goes on each page before any visual design begins. Good UX is invisible — visitors just understand what you do and how to enquire without having to think. That outcome doesn't happen by accident.

What you provide

Copy for key pages (or brief notes and we write it)
Any photos or images you want to use
Specifics about your services and process
Your preferred tone — professional, casual, direct

What we deliver

Wireframes or layout sketches for review
Draft copy for homepage and key service pages
SEO keyword targets for each page
Approval checkpoint before build begins
03

Build, Refine, Launch

Custom code. No drag-and-drop shortcuts.

We build your site from scratch — hand-coded for speed, SEO, and reliability. Once a working version is ready, you review it and give feedback. We refine until it's right, then launch. We don't push a site live that we're not proud of.

What you provide

Timely feedback during revision rounds
Final approval sign-off before launch
Domain access (or we register it for you)

What we deliver

Complete built and tested website
All revision rounds included in your tier
Performance audit (PageSpeed, mobile, SEO)
DNS setup and live launch
Analytics configuration
04

Care & Growth

A website is not a one-time project. It's an ongoing asset.

After launch, we keep your site fast, secure, and up to date. Your care plan covers hosting, security patches, backups, and uptime monitoring. Growth clients get a monthly edit allowance. Need more? Change packs are clearly priced and scoped before we start.

What you provide

Update requests as your business evolves
Feedback on what's working and what's not
New photos, copy, or offers to add

What we deliver

Hosting and SSL management
Security updates and backups
Uptime monitoring and alerts
Monthly edits (Growth plan)
Priority support response
Timelines

How long does it take?

Timelines depend on your tier and how quickly you can turn around feedback. Fast feedback = fast project. These are realistic estimates, not promises.

The biggest delays in any project are waiting on client content. Having copy, images, and feedback ready is the fastest thing you can do to speed things up.

Before You Start

How to get the most out of it.

Five things that make a real difference to how a project goes.

01

Have a clear idea of what you do and who your best clients are. You don't need to know how to explain it perfectly — that's our job — but knowing helps.

02

Gather any existing brand assets: logo, colour scheme, fonts, photos. Even a basic folder helps us move fast.

03

Think about 2–3 websites you like the look of (anywhere, not just your industry). It shortcuts the design conversation.

04

Know your service area — suburbs, cities, regions. Local SEO only works if we know where to target.

05

Be ready to give feedback within a few days of receiving drafts. Projects move faster when communication is fast.
